Poetry: Stanza's Map of Scotland in poems

For most of the last year, the StAnza festival has been attempting to document Scotland through poems – a genius idea, I'm sure you'll agree.

The map is now live, and you can find it here. It's an eye-popping cavalcade of poems about place; just click on one of the pins to be transported to the words.

I've written a wee thing about Lerwick (confession: I've not yet visited – do give me a reason to, someone). And they're still on the hunt for poems for all the places not yet reached, so do suggest one, write one even.

And over at Campus I've blogged my initial reaction to the first pile of poems I've been reading through. Expect more over the next few months.

Poetry: In case you missed it department

'22 March...' was in the FT at the weekend. As you do. No, I couldn't believe it either.

As I believe I am contractually obliged to say at this point: buy the book
